He didn't saw the sister for years it seem, and just heard some people he never met before say she did something and direct swallowed it as if it was the gospel and instead of asking her the situation when they meet for the first time in years he reject her direct but trust this random who had her team member attack MC grp after less than a little talk and not more than her words for it when he didn't even try to listen to the sis in the first place even thought than herself or her grp directly did nothing to him.
The only things he knew about her after coming in the place is what people he don't know and should not trust seeing their behavior said to him.

You'd be surprised what people do when they're pissed and depressed all at once.
I know, I am pretty much like that too, but after all the time that passed, he should at least have calmed down enough to think than maybe he should not act the exact same way than how others acted toward him by believing people they didn't knew at much than him which led him to be condemned in the first place.
To me, with him acting the same way than them, he don't have any right to hold a grudge against them for not believing in him without listening to what he have to say when he is basically doing the same some time later but after having enough time to reflect unlike the people who knew him who was just throwed the 'fact' on the face without time to really reflect on the situation before the trial with a literal 'Hero' (I think?) and high ranking(maybe?) guy against him + no witnesses other than himself.
