天涯孤独な少年・夕は、世話になっていたおじの家の蔵で、美しくも冒涜的な何かと出会った。【千の仔孕む森の黒山羊】と呼ばれる「それ」に、夕は自分の姉になることを願う。すると「それ」は「千夜」と名を変えて、彼の姉になり……？ 名状しがたい姉弟の物語、ここに開幕。
